Q. I want to promote my new website. How do I advertise on jokestan.com?
A.Just contact us and we will initiate the entire process on your behalf. We will make sure that your account is started as soon as possible.
Q. I received my account number. Why do I need this?
A. Your account number will help you see the statistics of your banner displayed on jokestan.com pages.
It will show you the number of times it has been displayed, and the number of times that its been clicked
on to get to your site. Using this kind of data, you can see which of your banners have the best click
thru ratio (CTR). Also, in your account center you can see how many more impressions you have left in
your account.
Q. What is an impression?
A.The number of impressions = the number of times your banner will be displayed on the jokestan.com site pages.
When you open an account you can choose the amount of impressions to buy. By using impressions, you can be assured
that your banner has been viewed exactly the number of impressions you have purchased.
Q. Can I change my banner image if I want to?
A.Yes! If you host your own banner, then you are welcome to change it at any time you wish. If we host
it for you then you must send us a notification to do so with the new banner image. We will then change it
for you.
Q. I just logged in to my account and saw "weight=2". What is this?
A. This basically allows us to control the frequency in which your banner is shown on the pages. The weight is used if you desire your
banner to be shown in a lower frequency.
